Na Fianna ladies were up against tough competition against Blackhall Gaels in this Feis Cup quarter Final played in Baconstown on Saturday evening. It was Blackhall Gaels whom opened the scoring with a point and took the lead position. This was to remain the case until half time when Blackhall lead by a shoreline of 2-4 to 7 points.
However it was certainly a game of two halves when Na Fianna came out in the second half a much stronger team and this was to be reflected on the score board. Na Fianna used the possession wisely and converted a total of 4 goals and 6 points in their second half display of football and only allowed Blackhall concede another two points.
The ladies are now through to their third semi - final spot this year.
